I saw a father with his daughter,
As he pushed her on the train.
She in her chaise.
They parked in the empty space.
Once they settled into place,
I spied the car she pretended to race.
She dropped her toy.
A toy usually meant for a boy.
As my friend couched down.
He scooped her prize..
My buddy placed it back in her lap.
To which she gave a joyous laugh.
We agreed,
The world had turn.
“Zoom, zoom,” played the girl with curls.
Free of the gender rules.
