As most of you may or may not know, I used to be in Information Technology.
I am pretty good at fixing computer related stuff and if I do not know the answer, then I Google it; however, the Windows 10 Upgrade prompts are driving me crazy!
As well as trying to keep my machine from upgrading, I have been trying to keep my friends from upgrading.
Today, I had to prevent the notice again (again, again, again and again, and once again) ‘KB3035583’ installed. I cannot tell you how many time I uninstalled the update and hid it. Like the plague, it keeps coming back.
In the registry, I have done DisableOSUpdate and DisableGwx, but Microsoft keeps updating ‘KB3035583’ and I have to either turn off automatic updates or uninstall the ‘KB3035583’ update.
I take comfort that I am not alone in my struggles. Numerous others are also wrestling with this issue:

It is my belief that Microsoft should not be allowed to continue with this ‘Nag-ware’. If a smaller company did this, then you can bet that they would be ordered to stop.
Oh well, I guess I can always go to Linux. Microsoft don’t make me have to do it.
