Well, another year has passed.
It is weird how time seems to fly by. As I get older, weeks, months and years just zoom by. It’s very strange. When I was a kid, I remember my friends and I wishing to be older. Time seemed to go by, so slowly.
The year 2016 was an okay year for me. It was a quiet year. Doug and I kept a low profile this year because we purchased a condo and we have been saving our resources.
I am still working on the next book. It slowed down for a few weeks, but the work is continuing.
I have lots happening in 2017. We will be moving into our new home. We are getting married.
On a personal note, I hope to get into better shape, learn French (as a person with a French last name, this is something I should have done a long, long time ago), and complete the second novel. Since we did not do much in 2016, I want to do more, and I want to connect with my friends more in 2017 (I feel I have been kind of lax in this department). With the new place having a more open concept, it should be easier to have people over more. These may not be exciting goals, what can I say? I have simple needs and a simple life.
