There is still no answer on the drug (Dantrium). It was too early to do the blood work as I have not been on it long enough. I go this Friday. The drug is hard on the liver, so he wants to make sure everything is okay.
My doctor renewed the prescription for a further two months, when at that time, there will be a follow-up and more blood work.
I am walking much more and without complaint; the complaining item was becoming an issue (and this is putting it mildly).
I feel thirty years younger (walking-wise). I walk without much effort and there is a spring in my step, which I haven’t had in a very long time. Yesterday, I stumbled on the sidewalk; before the drug, I would have fallen, but I stayed upright and kept my balance. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but for me, it was a very big deal.
I guess we all take simple things like walking for granted, that is until the act of walking becomes an issue and walking becomes more difficult.
