Fighting off a nasty cold

I am afraid it’s going to be one of those years.

Every five years, or so, I have a year where I catch every cold, or flu that comes my way.

By all early accounts predict this is going to be those years.

I got a cold about a week and a half ago, I am still trying to shake it. Some days, I feel worst, then other days it appears that I am recovering. Still it lingers. I cannot seem to really shake it completely my chest is congested, my head is stuffy, and I cannot sleep at night due the coughing fits.

Finally, after many night, I was able to sleep. I slept almost twelve hours last night. I feel much better this morning, but still I can feel some phlegm in my lungs. Although, it is not as bad as it was yesterday. I will take it easy this weekend, I will get some extra sleep, I will drink plenty hot drinks in the hopes that my chest will clear completely.

While I am awake. I will write. I hope to get another chapter done this weekend.

Take care of yourselves, while I try to take care of myself.
