I have had two bad nights in a row.
Monday night I could not sleep and I was awake until after 1am. I am not sure why I was awake other than I just wasn’t tired. There was nothing stirring my mind (there was nothing that I had to turn off which is usually what keeps me up, .i.e., a writing idea).
Last night, I awoke because of muscle spasms in my calves. Ever since, I have been taking Dantrolene (a muscle relaxant for some of us with Cerebral Palsy – it works for some, but not for everyone with CP) last year, these spams have been few or far between. Luckily, I own a Tens machine (an electrical exercising machine) which I use on both legs. It worked; it eased my muscles and stopped the pain. I was able to get back to sleep without any issues. I will have to discuss this with my doctor when I get back.
Anyway, I have had two bad nights in a row. Still, I slept
better last night than the night before, so that’s good.
Hopefully, I will sleep better tonight.
