My week and how I spend it

The sky is getting lighter earlier in the mornings and later in the evenings. It’s been overcast a lot, so I cannot say that it is getting brighter.

It’s supposed to be sunny here most of this weekend; however, I see nothing but clouds over head. Perhaps, the cloud cover will burn off later. I hope so.

I know I can no longer really enjoy sunlight due to my having Discoid Lupus. I do like the idea of seeing the sun up in the sky even as I cannot actually enjoy it without covering up and wear plenty of sunscreen. Oh well, what can one do?

As many of you know by now, I work a full-time job Monday through Friday with a long commute to and from work. It doesn’t leave me with a lot of leisure time in the evening once we cook dinner and eat. I am afraid to admit that, for me, it’s early to bed and early to rise most days. I try to make the most of the work week by either reading or writing on the bus. Although, it is a hassle carrying my tablet to and from work – it is heavier than I would like it to be.

Saturday. Now, here’s a day I can wrap my head around. It’s a day where I can just relax. I have chosen this day to do whatever I wish. I do plan to write somewhat, but also to make some time to chill and relax. Sundays are my cleaning and laundry days. I do manage to get an few hours of relaxing time, but they’re interrupted with chores, so it doesn’t feel like I truly relax.

That’s my week and how I choose the use it. It’s a bit boring I know, but I really enjoy the reading and writing parts, and the relaxing part isn’t bad either.
